Wireless with Buoy

WIRELESS AUDIO AND VIDEO THROUGH FLOATING BUOY

Normally a professional diver is connected by an umbilical which integrates air-supply, audio and video. In this situation the divers working area is limited to the lenght of the umbilical. The divers from the recreative diving sport have no umbilical but they use SCUBA equipment.  The SCUBA equipment gives them the freedom the swim around without any cables connected to any kind of surface supply.

Although the SCUBA divers have more freedom, it is more difficult to get good direct audio and video links through the water to the shore for direct monitor or inspection.

To overcome this problem a wireless communication buoy is developed (audio and video) which gives direct audio en video from the diver to the shore. The diver is connected by cable to a free floating bouy. This bouy has a wireless data-link (audio and video) through the air to a receiver on shore.
